The Grand Galleria Zone at High Street Phoenix, Mumbai was  the venue for an interesting afternoon themed around "Women & Weight Loss" hosted by Gayatri Ruia, Director, High Street Phoenix. It was an interactive session featuring celebrity nutritionist and author Rujuta Diwekar, on Monday, April  9th, 2012.

Rujuta and guests were welcomed by Anna Bredemeyer, Vice President Marketing, High Street Phoenix.

Rujuta spoke at length about the weight management issues discussed in her new book "Women & The Weight Loss Tamasha" to an eager audience comprising women from all walks of life and across various age groups.

Her books are available at the Om Bookstore where the session was hosted.

Bring back the tone in your body, the glow on your face and free your mind - STOP THE WEIGHT LOSS TAMASHA.

Rujuta spoke about how simple eating is the key to a fabulous body. She touched upon women, food and all things 'healthy'.

She explained in detail the changes women experience as they transition through life  and how these different phases affect their overall well-being.

Building on her four principles of eating right, she went on to share her four strategies (Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep and Relationships) for each of these phases and especially the lifestyle disorders of PCOD, Hypothyroid and Diabetes. Rujuta, in her usual indomitable style, debunked  myths related to food, hormones and workouts. She reinforced how easy it is to remain healthy, strong and fit through one’s life.

" I am thrilled to be a part of this afternoon at High Street Phoenix. Women must celebrate their beauty regardless of their weight issues! And what better way to do that than indulge in healthy discussion over fine teas, followed by some retail therapy!!".

Post the interactive session with Rujuta, guests moved onto enjoy High Tea at the adjoining café at Dolce Vita. A menu of Lemon grass and cilantro bassa on baked tostadas, Tomato and Truffle oil Bruscetta, Cucumber and Cream Cheese Sandwich on multi grain bread, Coronation Chicken sandwich on whole wheat bread, Mini Toffee Cheese Cake & Espresso Tarts and Scones with low sugar homemade cherry preserve ,was laid out.

"This session with Rujuta Diwekar is in keeping with our belief at High Street Phoenix of encouraging healthy and wholesome lifestyles. We are glad to have Rujuta here to interact with our patrons, who I'm sure found the session very informative & enlightening", said Gayatri Ruia.
